My Summer Bucket List (2020)

Can you believe this Summer is almost here?? Although summer doesn’t officially begin until June 20, we’re already starting to get some of that famous Texas summer weather– sunshine, random hail storms and gusty winds that carry all the allergens that us North Texans will spend the rest of this season battling.

That said, I’m getting VERY excited that Summer is just around the corner and I wanted to share the Summer Bucket List that I’ll be working my way through this season. Many of these things are family friendly and will keep my girls entertained in the coming months, but some of them are meant just for mama (and making sangria is definitely on the list, as you’ll see).

Speaking of sangria, I found the most beautiful looking recipe for a rosé-based sangria that I’m dying to try, courtesy of Williams Sonoma. I’ll be using my Rio Sangria Carafe to keep my cocktails and fruit-infused water cool this summer — you can get one by clicking here!

Homemade ice cream is in my DNA. My family celebrates almost everything with homemade ice cream, and in the summer – I just can’t get enough! I’m planning to make ice cream with the girls this summer and will be using this little baby — the Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker. This thing can make 1.5 quarts of ice cream, frozen yogurt or sorbet in under 20 minutes; I call that a Summer win! Get yours today and hurry, they will go fast as the months start heating up — click here!

Friends, please feel free to download, print and share my Summer Bucket List template with all your besties and family. Compare your lists and see which to-dos match up– maybe you can find a socially-distanced way to do them together! Use your imagination, sky’s the limit…
